Your files stay in your browser, and JustAsk AI never receives their contents or their names. It is told only things like a file's type, size, page count or length so it can choose the right tool. When you ask it to scan a QR code, the text the code contains is shared with the AI so it can tell you what it says.
Tools that run in your browser, like image compression, resizing and conversion between PNG, JPEG and WebP, work on your device. Tools that need ToolStudio's server, such as PDF, video, audio and document conversions, upload the file for processing, and those files are deleted after 24 hours. JustAsk AI tells you in the chat whenever a step used the server.
No. Your conversation lives in your browser while the page is open, and ToolStudio doesn't store your chat history. Start a new chat or leave the page and it is gone. ToolStudio keeps only a daily usage count, with no message text, so the daily allowance works.
You can attach images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, SVG, HEIC) up to 20 MB, PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Markdown files up to 50 MB, video (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI and more) up to 100 MB, and audio (MP3, WAV, M4A and more) up to 30 MB. The chat holds up to 20 files at a time.
