UPI is worth calling out specifically: type your UPI ID (and optionally a fixed amount and note) and it builds a real upi://pay link in the exact format Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM all recognize. One limit worth knowing honestly: this only works with a real UPI ID (the name@bank kind) — a bare phone number is not a valid payee address in the UPI spec, so if you do not have a UPI ID yet, this cannot generate a working payment code from a phone number alone.
Add your own logo, pick foreground and background colors, and choose a border style to make the code match your brand — kept to a size and error-correction level that has been checked against a real, independent QR scanner rather than just calculated to look safe, since a QR code that looks fine but does not scan is worse than a plain one. A plain, unstyled download is always available too, no matter what you customize.
Every code this tool makes is static — the data is encoded directly into the QR pattern itself, so it works forever with no account behind it and can never expire or get redirected somewhere else later. Some other generators push you toward a "dynamic" QR code with a free-tier limit (often just one or two before you are asked to pay) specifically because a dynamic code depends on their server staying up — a static one has no such catch.

Yes — switch to the UPI Payment tab and type your UPI ID. Amount and note are optional, so you can make either a fixed-amount code or one the payer fills in themselves.
Not directly — UPI payment QR codes need a real UPI ID (the name@bank format), which is what the payment apps actually check. A bare phone number is not a valid payee address in the UPI spec. If your UPI ID happens to be phone-number-shaped (some providers issue these), type that full ID in instead.
