Make a UPI payment QR in seconds — with amount, logo and a print-ready poster
Required field
Find it in any UPI app under your profile. The part after @ is the handle your bank or app issued — like @ybl, @oksbi, @okaxis or @paytm.
Amount
Best for a shop counter, donations or tips — each customer types their own amount.
A short note keeps the QR simpler and easier to scan (0/50).

Save the PNG, SVG or poster, then scan it from another phone before you print.
Type your UPI ID and name and you get a payment QR code that any UPI app can scan — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, your bank's own app and the rest. Leave the amount open for a shop counter, donations or tips, so each customer types their own; or set a fixed amount for an invoice or a single-price item, and the app fills it in the moment the code is scanned. Add a short note if you want the payment labelled.
Your UPI ID is checked as you type, so a missing @ or a stray space is caught before you print anything. The payee name you enter is what customers see on their payment screen, which is the reassurance they look for before they pay.
Then make it yours: choose the QR colors, drop your logo into the centre (the code switches to the highest error-correction level so it still scans), and download it as a PNG for sharing on WhatsApp, an SVG for sharp printing at any size, or a ready-to-print "Scan & Pay" poster in A4, A5 or 4×6-inch table-card size — with your business name and UPI ID printed on it, so customers can double-check who they are paying.
You can also copy the raw upi:// payment link, or open it on your phone to test it before you print.
Everything happens in your browser. Your UPI ID, name and amount are never uploaded and never stored — not even on this device. This tool isn't affiliated with NPCI or any payment app.
Enter your UPI ID (like name@bank) and the name you want customers to see, choose whether customers type the amount or you set a fixed one, and your QR code appears instantly. Download it as a PNG, an SVG or a print-ready poster. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many you make.
A UPI ID — also called a VPA, or virtual payment address — is your payment address, written like name@bank or 9876543210@ybl. You get one when you link a bank account in a UPI app; look under your profile or account details in Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or your bank's app. You can't invent one here — it has to be an ID that already exists in your UPI app.
The part after the @ is the handle, which tells the UPI system which bank or app issued the ID. Commonly, @ybl and @ibl are used by PhonePe, @oksbi, @okaxis, @okhdfcbank and @okicici by Google Pay, @paytm by Paytm and @apl by Amazon Pay. Handles come from your bank or app, so enter your ID exactly as it appears in your app — this generator checks the format, not whether the ID exists.
Yes — switch Amount to Fixed amount and enter it in rupees, with up to two decimals (like 499.50). The amount is built into the QR, so the payment screen opens with it already filled in. Leave it on Customer enters the amount for a counter QR that takes any bill.
The QR carries the amount, but what the payer sees and whether they can edit it is decided by their UPI app, not by the QR, and apps handle this differently. For a fixed-price invoice, scan your own code with a couple of different UPI apps before printing and confirm the amount received matches. If an amount must be locked, a per-order dynamic QR from a payment gateway is the stricter option.
A static QR is one fixed code you print once and reuse — usually it holds just your UPI ID and name, so each customer types the amount. A dynamic QR is generated for each transaction with its own amount and reference, normally by a bank or payment gateway, and often expires. Codes made here are reusable payment-link codes: they never expire, need no account, and with a fixed amount they suit a single invoice or price.
Yes — open QR style & logo, upload your logo and choose a square or round crop. With a logo the QR switches to the highest error-correction level, so about 30% of the code can be covered and it still scans, and the logo is kept to a size that stays readable. Keep the payee name and note short and the logo fits comfortably. Always scan a printed copy before you rely on it.
Yes — the Poster button creates a ready-to-print Scan & Pay page with your business name, the QR and your UPI ID printed underneath, in A4 (wall or counter), A5 (counter stand) or 4×6-inch (table card) size. Print it at 100% scale rather than shrink-to-fit, and laminate it if it will live on a counter. For stickers, standees or banners, download the SVG — it stays sharp at any size.
Use PNG for WhatsApp, email, a website or a social post — it's a normal image that opens anywhere. Use SVG when you're sending the code to a print shop or making a sticker, standee or banner: it's a vector file, so it stays perfectly crisp at any size. The poster is a high-resolution PNG sized for printing.
For a counter where customers scan from about 30 cm away, 3 × 3 cm is the smallest comfortable size and 5 × 5 cm or more is easier. A handy rule is to make the code about one-tenth of the scanning distance, so a code scanned from 1 metre away should be around 10 cm wide. Keep the white margin around it and print dark ink on a light background.
The code is a standard UPI payment link, so any UPI-enabled app can scan it — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, WhatsApp and bank apps among them. App names are trademarks of their owners; this generator isn't affiliated with or endorsed by NPCI or any of them.
Your UPI ID, name, amount and note are turned into a QR code inside your browser — nothing is sent to our servers and nothing is saved, not even in your browser's local storage. Close the tab and it's gone. A UPI ID is a receiving address: paying money out of your account always needs your own UPI PIN. Still, only share the code where you're happy for people to see your ID.
Not exactly. This generator makes a UPI payment-link QR that any UPI app can read. BHARAT QR is an interoperable QR standard introduced by NPCI together with the card networks, and bank-issued merchant QR codes — the ones that come with a merchant account or a payment soundbox — are generated by your bank or payment provider. A QR made here is the quick way to receive UPI payments to your own UPI ID.
Technically any UPI ID can receive payments from a QR, which is why many small shops, stalls and freelancers use one. If you collect payments regularly or in volume, ask your bank about a business or merchant UPI account — it comes with a bank-issued merchant QR, settlement reports and merchant verification, and its own rules about what a personal account is meant for.
You can type any amount, but UPI limits apply when the customer pays. The standard limit is ₹1,00,000 per transaction, with higher limits for some categories such as tax payments, hospitals and education, and each bank or app can set its own lower limits. If a large payment fails, the payer's bank limit is the first thing to check — NPCI publishes the current limits.
Scan it from a different phone with your own UPI app and check that the payee name is yours. If you set a fixed amount, check that it appears correctly. Then send a small real payment — ₹1 is enough — from another account and confirm it reaches you. On a phone you can also use Open in a UPI app to open the payment link directly.
Fraudsters sometimes paste their own QR over a shop's. Print your name and UPI ID on the poster (the poster does this for you), laminate it, keep it where staff can see it, and check it regularly. Customers should always confirm that the name on their payment screen matches the shop — which is why the payee name is required.
A UPI QR needs a UPI ID. Many apps create yours from your mobile number (like 9876543210@ybl) — check your profile in the app for the exact ID. Payments made through the QR go to the bank account linked to the UPI ID you enter, so there's no need to type an account number or IFSC code.
No. The code is just your payment details written as a pattern — there's no server behind it and no expiry date. It works for as long as the UPI ID stays active, and you can reuse the same printed code indefinitely.
The UPI payment-link format expects a payee name, and it's what customers see on the payment screen before they confirm. Use your name or business name as it appears on your bank account so people recognise it.
People often say UPI barcode, but UPI payment codes are QR codes — a square grid, not a row of bars. Any UPI app scans them the same way.
