Drop the video on the page or click to browse. MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and WMV all work, up to 150 MB.
Add the sound
Drop a music track, a voice recording or any audio file, or a video whose sound you want to use.
Choose how it combines
Replace the video's own sound, or mix it in. Set the volume of each, whether a short track repeats and whether it fades out at the end.
Press Add the sound and download
A few seconds later the new video appears with a player. It is the same type of file as the original.
Add a video, add a sound, choose how they combine and download one video with the new sound on it. The picture is copied exactly as it is, so the quality of the video does not change and the job takes seconds.
The new video keeps the length of the original. A track that is shorter than the video plays again and again until the video ends (you can switch that off); a track that is longer is cut where the video ends. Leave the fade on and the sound fades down over the last two seconds instead of stopping suddenly.
The picture and any subtitles are copied across without being decoded or compressed again, and the file you get back is the same type as the one you put in: MP4 stays MP4, and MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and WMV stay what they were. Only the sound is made again, once, in the format that file type holds. That is also why it is quick.
Use any audio file: a song, a voice recording you made on your phone, a sound effect, or the sound of another video. There is no music library here, so bring a track you have the right to use. If you post a video with music you do not have the right to, the platform can mute it or block it.
Your browser puts the sound on the video on your own phone or computer, so neither file is uploaded. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many videos you make. The first time you use any of the video or audio tools on this site, your browser downloads the small engine that does the work (about 10 MB) and keeps it for next time. Videos up to 150 MB can be added.
Add the video and then the sound, a music track, a voice recording or any audio file. Choose whether the sound replaces the video's own or plays together with it, set the volume and press Add the sound. A few seconds later the new video appears with a player; press Download to save it.
Add the video and your music track, choose Mix it with the video's sound, and turn the music down (for example -10 dB) so it sits under any voices. If the video is silent, or you want only the music, choose Replace. The music stops where the video ends and fades out if you leave the fade on.
Choose Replace the video's sound. The video's own sound is dropped and the audio file you add is put in its place. The picture is copied as it is, without being re-encoded.
Replace uses only the sound you add. Mix plays it together with the video's own sound, and each has its own volume slider so you can, for example, lower the original and keep the music loud. On a video with no sound, Mix simply adds your track.
The picture is copied across without being decoded or compressed again, so every frame is identical to the original. Only the sound is made once, in the format the video's file type holds (AAC for MP4, MOV and MKV, Opus for WebM).
By default it plays again and again until the video ends. Turn off Play the sound again if you want it to play once and then leave the rest of the video silent.
It is cut where the video ends, so the video keeps its length. With Fade the sound out switched on, the last two seconds fade down instead of stopping suddenly.
Yes. Leave Fade the sound out over the last 2 seconds ticked and the added sound fades down as the video ends.
No. Your browser puts the sound on the video on your own phone or computer, so neither file leaves your device and nothing is sent to a server.
Videos: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and WMV. Sound: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC and most other audio files. The new video is the same type as the one you added, so a MOV comes back as a MOV.
Yes. Add a video file where the sound goes and its sound track is used.
No. You add your own track: a song you have the right to use, a voice recording, a sound effect. Music in a video can still be muted or blocked by a platform if you do not have the right to use it.
Record the voice with any recorder on your phone or computer, add the video and the recording here, and choose Mix if you want to keep the video's own sound under the voice, or Replace if you want only the voice.
Add the video and then the audio file, choose how the two should combine and press Add the sound. The result is one video file with the sound on the picture.
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, add the video from your phone and then the music file, and download the new video to your phone.
Add your track here and post the new video. Apps that have their own music library let you pick a track when you post instead; if you add copyrighted music yourself, the platform may mute the video or block it.
Nothing goes wrong. Mix and Replace both add your track, and the page does not stop you.
Join your tracks into one audio file first with the Audio Merger, then add that file here.
No. The new video is exactly as long as the original.
Videos up to 150 MB can be added. A short clip is the usual case and is done in seconds.
A few seconds. In testing, putting a four-second song on a 30-second 720p video took about a second and a half once the engine had started, because only the sound is made again. The first time you use a video or audio tool on the site, add a few seconds for your browser to start the engine.
