Drop the video on the page or click to browse. MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and WMV all work, up to 100 MB.
Choose the watermark
Drop your logo (PNG, JPG or WebP, a transparent PNG looks best) or choose Some text and type it.
Place it
Pick one of nine places, set the size, the opacity and the gap to the edge. The preview shows the exact result.
Make the new video and download it
Press the button. The video is made on ToolStudio's server and appears with a player and a Download button.
Add a video, add your logo or some text, choose where it goes, and download the new video. A preview shows the watermark on your video, at the place, size and opacity you chose, before anything is uploaded.
The picture is laid on in proportion and never stretched. The video is made again at a high quality setting, at the same picture size, as an MP4 with H.264 picture; the sound is kept. There is no ToolStudio watermark on the result: the only one is yours.
Putting a picture on every frame means making the video again, which is too slow for a browser, so this tool works on ToolStudio's server: your video and the watermark picture are uploaded for it and the files are deleted automatically afterwards. The preview is made on your own device. There is no account and no limit on how many videos you make. Videos up to 100 MB can be added, and the server refuses a video that would take too long, which in practice means about 3.5 minutes of 720p video or 1.5 minutes of 1080p video. Trim a longer one first.
Add the video, choose a picture or type some text, pick one of nine places for it, set its size and how solid it is, and press Add the watermark. A preview on the page shows the watermark on your video before anything is uploaded, and the new video appears with a player and a Download button.
Choose A picture or logo, drop your logo on the page, pick where it goes (a corner is the usual place) and make the video. A PNG with a transparent background looks best, because only the logo itself shows and not a box around it.
Choose Some text, type it (up to 60 characters, such as © Your name or your channel's name), pick white, black, yellow, red or blue and bold or not, and choose where it goes. The text is drawn on your device with a thin outline of the opposite colour so it can be read on light and dark pictures.
A PNG, JPG or WebP picture, up to 20 MB. PNG is best for a logo because it can be see-through. The picture is placed on the video as it is: it is not stretched, only made bigger or smaller in proportion.
Save or export the logo as a PNG with a transparent background from the program that made it, or from the image converter if you have it in another format. A JPG always has a solid background, so it shows as a box.
A watermark is a logo or a few words on a video that show who made it or who owns it. People use one to brand their videos, to credit their work when it is shared, and to label a draft.
A corner is the usual place, because it stays out of the way of the picture; bottom right is the default. A watermark in the middle is harder to crop out but gets in the way of the picture, so make it faint. Nine places are offered, and the gap to the edge can be changed.
The size is a share of the video's width, from 5% to 60%, and starts at 20%. Because it is a share, the same setting looks the same on a 720p and a 1080p video. The preview shows the size before you start.
Yes. Opacity goes from 10% (faint) to 100% (solid) and starts at 80%. A faint watermark is less likely to spoil the picture, a solid one is easier to read.
No. The only watermark on the new video is the one you add. There is no ToolStudio logo, no account and no limit on how many videos you make.
The video is made again at a high quality setting (H.264) at the same picture size, so it looks the same as the original. A video with an odd width or height loses at most one pixel. To make the new file smaller afterwards, use Compress Video.
Yes. The sound is kept as it is when MP4 can hold it, and made into AAC when it cannot.
Yes. Putting a picture on every frame means making the video again, which is too slow for a browser, so this tool works on ToolStudio's server: the video and the watermark picture are uploaded for it, and the files are deleted automatically afterwards. The preview on the page is made on your own device and uploads nothing.
Videos up to 100 MB can be added. The server also refuses a video that would take too long to make, which in practice means about 3.5 minutes of 720p video or 1.5 minutes of 1080p video. Trim a longer one first with Trim/Cut Video.
It depends on the video's length and size, plus your upload and download time. In our testing, 30 seconds of 720p video took about 10 seconds and a minute of 1080p video took under a minute; a busy server can take longer.
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI and WMV all work, up to 100 MB. The new video is always an MP4, which plays on nearly every phone, computer and website.
Yes, as a text watermark: a line of text that stays in one place for the whole video. It is not a caption that changes as the video plays.
Yes. The text is drawn on your device with the fonts it has, so any language your device can show works. In testing, a line mixing English and Hindi came out correctly in the preview.
On a Windows keyboard hold Alt and type 0169 on the number pad; on a Mac press Option and G; on a phone it is usually under the symbols on the keyboard. You can also copy it from this page: ©.
One at a time. Make the new video, press Start over, add the new video and add the next watermark.
The watermark is a still picture: a PNG, JPG or WebP. To use a frame of an animation, save that frame as a PNG.
Yes, for videos of the same shape. The size is a share of the video's width and the gap to the edge a share of its shorter side, so a setting that looks right on one video looks right on another.
Make a text watermark white or black with its outline, which is on by default, or use a logo with a solid shape of its own. A faint watermark is easy on the eye; a solid one is easier to read.
No: this tool only adds a watermark. If the video is your own, the best fix is the original file from before the watermark was added; a watermark that belongs to someone else is theirs to remove or to license.
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, add the video from your photos or files, add your logo from your files or type your text, choose where it goes, make the new video and download it to your phone.
Yes. Attach the video, and your logo if it is a picture, and say what you want, for example put my logo in the top right corner at half strength, or write © Your name in white at the bottom. The AI uses the same places, sizes and options as this page, and shows the new video with a player and a Download button.
Each video is a separate job. Download the new video, press Start over and add the next.
It is free, with no account and no limit on how many videos you make. The only watermark on the result is the one you added.
