Paste in a document and search for up to five different terms at once — each gets its own highlight color and its own occurrence count, so you can see at a glance where every term appears and how often. Use the match counters to jump from one hit to the next, or scan the colored highlights through the whole text in one pass instead of searching term by term.
It's built for the jobs where Ctrl+F falls short, because Ctrl+F only ever looks for one thing at a time: checking a contract or report for a handful of key terms, reviewing an article against a list of keywords, or spotting every mention of several names in a transcript. There's no extension to install, multi-page documents are handled comfortably, and everything is processed in your browser — nothing you paste is uploaded.
Case-sensitive and whole-word matching are both available as toggles, but honestly: they apply to all 5 search terms at once, not individually per term. If you need different matching rules for different terms in the same pass, that's not currently possible here.
There's no hard limit — it comfortably handles multi-page documents.
The earlier (lower-numbered) search term wins that overlapping stretch of text, so you always see one clean highlight rather than a visually broken double-highlight.
A warning appears under the later box telling you it's already being searched in an earlier one — worth noticing, since duplicate terms don't add anything and can make the color-coding confusing.

Not really — Word's own Find (Ctrl+F) locates one term at a time with no color-coding between different terms, and manual highlighting is a one-color-at-a-time action you'd have to repeat for each word. Getting 5 terms color-coded simultaneously the way this tool does isn't a built-in Word feature.
