A photo prepared for one is rejected for the other. Pick the preset that matches your actual application, not just "India," and this handles the rest. The UK/Schengen/EU preset also covers most European national passports directly, not just Schengen visas — Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands all use the identical 35×45mm size.
